Active Portfolio

An active customer base is the share of customers who purchased within a defined period suited to the product’s buying cycle.

Definition

The share of the customer base that bought within a window defined by the company, ideally tied to the product purchase cycle. A large portfolio with few active customers is the most common sign of stalled revenue.
